PHYSICAL EFFECTS OF MASSAGE

Massage is a great way to relax and connect as partners, but you should be mindful of any physical conditions that may interact with receiving a massage. A few conditions that are contraindicated for massage (meaning receiving massage could be harmful) are unmanaged high blood pressure, blood clotting or stroke disorders, recent surgery, open wounds, and fever. This is not a comprehensive list, and should not be construed as medical advice. Like most things for your body, when in doubt, consult a physician before beginning this course.

YOGA HAS INHERENT RISK

Yoga, like any exercise activity, has inherent risk and may be contraindicated for some conditions. Please be mindful of your physical needs and limitations. Like most things for your body, when in doubt, consult a physician before beginning a new activity or regimen.

COURSE LIMITATIONS

Our courses are designed for individuals who want to learn basic techniques they can practice and perform at home. These are not professional trainings and completion of any course does not constitute certification in massage or yoga at any level.
